Training Program from Book Wins Major Award
Just over two years ago I made the (some might call risky) decision to pivot my focus at the Big 4 firm, EY, to build a mindful leadership program aimed at demystifying mindfulness and making it accessible to the 80,000+ high-performing (and skeptical of mindfulness) professionals in our Americas region with the goal of positively impacting their performance, leadership, and well-being.
Weโve since had thousands complete the program and some of my colleagues, all of whom have much more insight into the learning and development space than I, suggested we submit the program for a Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management Excellence Award.
Iโm so exited to share we just found out our Mindful Leadership program at EY won a Brandon Hall Gold Excellence in Leadership Development award ๐ฅ for ๐๐ฒ๐๐ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐พ๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ป๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ!ย Itโs been such an honor bringing practical mindfulness training to so many at EY and beyond.ย (EY Americas Learning won 11 awards in total!)
Thanks to EY Americas Chief Learning Officer, Tal Goldhamer and Learning Experience, Incubation, and Design Leader, Helen Walsh, for the willingness to give the program space in our curriculum and thanks to the EY senior leaders (Kelly Grier, Ginnie Carlier,Carolyn Slaski, Richard Jeanneret, Marna Ricker, Gerry Dixon and so many others) for your generous support of our mindfulness initiatives.
Special thanks to the amazing team of exceptional mindfulness teachers, course producers, and others who help deliver the program to our people in the Americas and make the program better each and every day! Jessica Frankel, Eileen Legg, Kristin Conklin, Melissa D Jeng, Jason Trost, Michelle Lore-McHugh, Pat Mom, Rachel Troychock, and so many others as well as our 70+ EY Mindfulness Champions globally.
